Who We Are

Commonwealth Catholic Charities (CCC) Independence for Seniors supports healthy lifestyles and interactions for mature adults. The program improves the quality of life for seniors by encouraging physical and mental activity, good nutrition, and personal relationships.  The following sources of care are provided to Seniors:

The Call Reassurance program provides seniors with a friendly phone call from a caring volunteer. Seniors feel less lonely knowing that a compassionate friend is only a phone call away.

The Care Coordination program helps individuals and families with the management and organization of daily tasks and care and a person-centered care plan. Call for more details.

The Caregiver Relief program provides much-needed breaks to stressed family members who are caring for their loved ones at home. Trained volunteers are matched with a family to provide a few hours of rest for the caregiver and socialization for the loved ones.

Call 804-545-5916 for more information about the various programs.
