Who We Are
As part of the Sentara RMH Medical Center, the Sentara RMH Wellness Center, offers comprehensive physical. occupational, aquatic, and speech therapy services to patients upon physician referral. Areas of advanced training and special expertise include orthopedics, pain management, wound management, upper extremity/hand injuries, back care and lymphedema. Patients also have complete access to the entire wellness center during their course of treatment.
Therapists offer specialized care in orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, spine and back disorders, wounds and other injuries and illnesses. Types of interventions used by RMH physical therapists include exercise, manual techniques, education, bracing, heat and cold modalities, ultrasound and electric stimulation.
