Who We Are
Meals for Shut-Ins (MFSI) is a total volunteer agency that delivers nutritious hot meals five days a week to handicapped or ill individuals unable to provide their own. The service area for Meals for Shut-Ins is within the city limits of Lexington. Meals are delivered to clients that meet specifications. Meals for Shut-Ins also deliver meals for the Valley Program for Aging Services to their clients residing within the City of Lexington.
MFSI receives referrals via the telephone. The organization has a cell phone that is in possession of the coordinator. To make a referral, leave a voice mail, and the coordinator will get back to you.
