Kingstowne Center for Active Adults

Kingstowne Center for Active Adults offers a wide assortment of energizing and enjoyable programs and services for citizens 50 years of age or older. Programs are specifically designed for active adults who wish to maintain healthy and fulfilling lives. As diverse as the people they serve, these offering provide a broad range of opportunities and experiences: social events, recreation classes, inter generational opportunities; day trips, tours shopping; health fairs, fitness programs, senior Olympics; enrichment classes, workshops and computer education.

The Inclusive Services for Older Adults Program is an innovative inclusion program, within the senior centers, for older adults with minor cognitive and physical disabilities. This program bridges the gap between day programs for fully independent older adults and those who require more assistance. Its value is that it allows older adults with disabilities to enjoy the wide range of programming found at the county's full service senior centers.
