Who We Are

The Henry County Parks and Recreation offers a large variety of activities and social events for seniors age 60 and over including (some open to 50 and older): 

  • Trips and Travel Opportunities offered throughout the year,
  • Food & Fun activities such as the Breakfast Club, Out-to-Lunch Bunch and Holiday lunches
  • Drop-In Activities such as Bingo, Canasta and Rook
  • Health Screenings
  • And more--Bridge Club, Men's Golf Tournament, Bowling League, Knitting Classes, Scrapbooking Classes, etc.

Health Screenings are free and available to all adults 50 and above.  These screenings are designed to promote awareness and healthier lifestyles for seniors.  Screenings are available to check blood pressure, blood sugar and hearing.  Information is provided on nutrition and alternative health care needs.
