Who We Are

Bayside Recreation Center maintains a Forever Young Senior Center and offers recreational services and activities for the senior residents in the Virginia Beach area. A Forever Young Center provides a gathering place for older adults who are 55 and up to socialize and participate in special events, games, exercise, as well as trips and local excursions. Adults participate in crafts, games, bowling, exercise, socialization, lunch, trips and more. Varied activity fees.

Center is open on Wednesday and Friday from 10 am until 1 pm for seniors. Nutritious lunch for adults age 60 and above. Must order lunch on a weekly basis. A donation is requested for the lunch.

Transportation is provided on a limited basis. In addition to recreation services, art appreciation, etc., agency sponsors lectures and discussions by outside agencies such as the library, Heart Association, etc. Also, offers senior citizen square dance club, bowling and shuffleboard, and travel club.
