What is Daughterhood?
Daughterhood.org’s mission is to support and build confidence in women who are managing their parents’ care. The daughterhood website, blog, podcast and social media links connect you — the care manager — to resources and a wholly unique perspective on our health and elder care systems.
Daughterhood is what happens when we put our lives on hold to take care of our parents. Unlike motherhood, we don’t expect daughterhood. And, even if we did, it’s shocking how hard and time consuming it is.
Daughterhood Circle Gatherings
Led by trained Circle Leaders who ‘get it,’ FREE Virtual Circles provide essential information in a concise and engaging format. Join a Topic Circle to take a ‘deep dive’ into specific areas including dementia, care transitions, navigating resources and financing care. Or join a Connection Circle that does just that– connect members who have the opportunity to share and learn from each other in a less structured format.
