Accessible Transportation

Greensville County and the City of Emporia have combined resources to provide transportation for residents and visitors to improve the quality of life.  The Greensville Emporia Transit system (GET)  is designed to provide an efficient transit route that connects residents with employment, education, healthcare, essential government services, shopping, and recreation through transit services within a one-hour timeframe.

GET will operate a fixed schedule from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.  The fare is $1.00 per ride. Exact change only, or a token.  Tokens can be used instead of exact change.  Tokens can be purchased at:
