Bay Aging Accessible Transportation

Bay Transit is the public transportation authority of Bay Aging, a charitable, non-profit organization serving seniors and people with disabilities for over 30 years. However, Bay Transit serves “All People, of ALL ages, for ALL reasons. ”Improving people’s lives by making their communities more accessible". That’s the mission of Bay Transit, which provides public transportation services – or more than 140,000 rides annually– throughout the Middle Peninsula, Northern Neck and New Kent, and Charles City Counties. This service – the only public transportation service in the region – allows riders to get to work, medical appointments, shop for groceries, attend social engagements, and more.

Bay Transit is a division of Bay Aging, founded on the belief that every citizen must be assured accessible, safe transportation to the destination of their choice, without regard to disability, age, or economic status.
