Who We Are

University of Virginia’s Health System has a division of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology.  The Multiple Sclerosis Center is a member of The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers that provides comprehensive care for people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Clinical research hopes to advance the understanding of Multiple Sclerosis and provide training for neurologists in the next generation.  Focus is on Multiple sclerosis, adult and pediatric-onset, Sarcoidosis, Optic neuritis, Autoimmune and paraneoplastic disorders, CNS Vasculitis, Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders and Transverse myelitis.
