Who We Are

Rebuilding Together has provided extensive home rehabilitation and modification services to low-income homeowners across the country for over 25 years.

With the help of everyday citizen volunteers, skilled tradespeople, and the support of local businesses and major corporate partners, Rebuilding Together affiliates make life better for thousands of low-income homeowners every year at no charge to homeowners.

Interior repairs can include installing a grab bar, tub seat, and hand-held shower, changing doorknobs to lever, adding toggle light switches, sturdy stair railings, and ramps, and can provide emergency year-round services, in addition to major rehabilitation projects. Homeowners must be low-income and elderly, disabled, or families with children and unable to do the work themselves. Families are referred through churches, synagogues, community organizations, and service groups, or by self-referral.
