Who We Are

Bon Secours Richmond Memorial Medical Center offers the Diabetes Treatment Center.   The Diabetes team offers programs that include a broad range of treatment and educational components including: 

  • Inpatient and outpatient diabetes education and treatment
  • Blood glucose monitoring
  • Insulin management and instruction
  • Oral medication management
  • Nutrition counseling and proper meal planning
  • Diabetes seminars
  • Individual and family support
  • Exercise counseling
  • Stress Management.

The Center is managed by American Healthways and consists of specialists that include clinical nurse specialists, dietitians, and certified diabetes educators.
