Who We Are
During the Holiday season, the Staunton Salvation Army provides assistance to needy families, children and elderly so no one awakes to find there is nothing under the tree. Programs include:
- Angel Tree Program – Each year during the Christmas season, families and individuals purchase Christmas gifts of clothing, shoes, toys, personal items and other gifts for children and elderly. Local businesses and churches provide Angel Tree sites.
- The Red Kettle Drive - Donations received support the social service programs of The Salvation Army throughout the year. Individuals and community groups volunteer to ring bells at various kettle locations in the area.
