Home Repair Assistance

The Henrico County Home Repair Program assists low-income homeowners by providing repairs that address substandard housing conditions which pose an immediate threat to the health, safety and/or security of those residing in the home.  Examples of repairs covered by the Home Repair Program include:

• Porches, steps, and railings
• Roof repair/replacement
• Plumbing and electrical systems
• Heating systems
• Structural elements

This program is funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.  This program is administered for Henrico County by the non profit agency, project: HOMES.  They can be contacted at 804-233-2827.
