Who We Are

Fredericksburg Area HIV/AIDS Support Services (FAHASS) provides transportation assistance for HIV-related medical appointments to ensure that clients are able to maintain their medical treatment goals. The following are examples of eligible medical appointments: appointments to have bloodwork drawn, specialty and primary medical care appointments, meeting with your case manager, mental health services, dental services, and substance abuse treatment.

Clients must contact their medical case manager when they have a need for transportation. Once the appointment has been validated and the need for transportation has been established, the case manager will work with the client to select the best method for reaching the appointment.
