Who We Are
The Farmville Area Bus operates the Prince Edward County Transit (PERT) for public transportation. PERT serves the Meherrin/Green Bay and Prospect/Pamplin areas on alternating weekdays. These routes serve rural areas in the county and operate on a deviated fixed-route system that requires a call in advance along certain segments of the route.
The Green Line operates in the Prospect/Pamplin Area on Monday and Thursday of each week. The route schedule is available on the website
The Orange Line operates in the Meherrin/Green Bay area on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. The route schedule is available on the website.
The campus line joins one off-campus housing community (Lancer Park) with the University.
The fare is $1.00 each way.
