Who We Are
The Senior Resource Center is a place for seniors and their caregivers to go for social activities, games, crafts, friendly visits, assistance with errands and links to resources. The Center serves residents in the southern part of Virginia Beach and strives to help seniors remain in their homes as long as possible. Information and referral, friendly home visits and reassurance phone calls are provided by volunteers, as well as general home maintenance assistance. A free monthly newsletter is also available.
The Center is mainly run by volunteers with assistance from the City of Virginia Beach's Department of Human Services.
