Who We Are

FASTRAN offers a Critical Medical Care Program (CMCP) transportation service for Fairfax County residents participating in human services agency programs who must undergo life sustaining treatments including dialysis, radiation, physical therapy, chemotherapy, brain injury therapy, and water therapy. Transportation service under this program is not guaranteed but is provided on a space available basis.  FASTRAN can take you to locations in Fairfax County as well as locations in Arlington County and the City of Alexandria. The application is available on the website.

FASTRAN vehicles are lift equipped for riders with wheelchairs. Steps into the interior of FASTRAN vehicles have been specifically designed to accommodate the disabled. Lifts and tie-downs accommodate most commonly used wheelchair models. Collapsible wheelchairs are provided on request for people with "scooter" motorized wheelchairs that cannot be transported. In this case, riders will be transferred to a collapsible wheelchair and the "scooter" wheelchair will be loaded and transported.

If you need to cancel the ride, please contact the Cancellation Line at 703-324-7068, TTY 703-324-7079. This is an automated line with a 24-hour recording where you give the pertinent information.
