CommonWealth Catholic Charities (CCC) Homeless Prevention Programor Housing Resource center can assist eligible individuals and families in the Greater Richmond area who, without assistance, would become homeless. CCC assists with rent and utilities and provides supportive services to assist program participants to become stable in the short term and successful in the years beyond.
If you are in need of assistance, call the Homeless Point of Entry Program at 804-648-4177 to be screened for eligibility.
Interpreter Services can be arranged when given advance notice and where resources are available.

Families with children who are homeless. For eligibility, bring two picture IDs or birth certificate, letters from referring agency, etc. Parents should bring children's social security cards. Bring any documentation regarding homelessness (eviction, etc)

Intake Process
Clients are encouraged to arrive early as space availability is assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Clients who have completed intake and are waiting for placement are instructed to call daily to check on space availability. Call 211 after hour
