Who We Are

The Fluvanna and Louisa Housing Foundation (FLHF)  manages the State Emergency Home Repair Program.  This program improves housing conditions and opportunities for low and very low-income Virginians. The program provides funds to remove imminent health and safety hazards, and/or barriers to habitability in their homes.  Eligible repairs can include plumbing, structural, electrical, roofing, wheelchair ramps, and handicapped accessible appliances.

The Housing Foundation also manages the State Indoor Plumbing Program (IPR) and has funds for grants and loans to repair dwellings.    The FLHF also provides/installs/sells portable, modular aluminum ramps and install plumbing in houses lacking a well and/or a septic.
