Blackwell Community Center

Blackwell Community Center is located in the south side of Richmond and provides leisure services to residents of Richmond. It is involved with passive park activities such as educational, hobby programs, senior citizen activities, youth programs, adult athletic leagues, bus tours, and special events.



Interior you will find a gymnasium, computer lab, kitchen, multi-purpose room, fitness area, meeting room and a games area. Outdoor features are a regulation size football and soccer field, swimming pool, tot lot, basketball and tennis courts and a softball field.



Recreation programs and classes in the areas of cultural arts, after school fun club, sports, dance, summer camp, crafts, sewing, drop in programs, self-improvement, computers, games, martial arts, music, do-it-yourself instruction and special events are among the activities offered here.



Volunteers are always needed to help with youth program or share their skills by teaching arts and crafts, music, dancing or other programs.
