Alcoholics Anonymous, Information, Literature and Meetings

Northern Virginia Intergroup is a group of more than 800 Alcoholic Anonymous groups in Northern Virginia with a purpose to help the alcoholic who is still suffering. 24 hour telephone contact is available, a schedule of AA meetings in the area is available,  and a list of members willing to do 12th step work (give rides, talk, be a sponsor) is available.

Alcoholic Anonymous provides help to individuals with alcohol related problems.  The organization

• Operates a 24-hour hotline at 703-293-9753.
• Offers literature and sobriety chips (order form available online)
• Can refer individuals to AA meetings in Northern Virginia.  Some sites are accessible to persons with disabilities.
• Requires no dues or fees to attend meetings.
• Offers volunteer opportunities
