Who We Are

The Alternative Community Service (ACS) Program is a volunteer placement program for individuals required by the courts to perform community service as part of their sentence.  The client is interviewed and placed with agency.  Once volunteer hours are met, the supervisor will fax timesheet to Volunteer Alexandria. Verification will be done and a completion letter is provided to lawyers and probation officers.

Placements are made based on information provided by the client in the interview and also  information from probation officers.
