Food Pantry and Meal Vouchers

The Falls Church Community Service Council, Inc. (FCS), established in 1969, is a coalition of churches and human service organizations in the greater Falls Church area.   FCS maintains a food pantry at Knox Presbyterian Church which provides non-perishable and fresh food to clients in need. Food donations come from member congregations, individuals and local food drives. Additional critical food is purchased when needed as funds are available. Church volunteers bag and deliver a week's supply of food to clients.



Meal Vouchers: Grocery store and fast food restaurant vouchers are made available for distribution to member congregations. These vouchers are for individuals seeking immediate food assistance when they are unable to utilize the FCS pantry. Vouchers are delivered to member congregations that request them.



Languages: Bring interpreter if possible. A translator can sometimes be recruited through volunteer contacts. Call ahead.
