Who We Are
The Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library loans books and other materials to the public. Reference service locates information on all subjects. Offers public programs for children and adults. Operates 26 neighborhood libraries. Call for locations and hours of operation.
The Washington Lifelong Learning Center was created though the cooperative efforts of the District of Columbia Public Library to help city residents 60 years of age and older take advantage of courses, lectures and seminars offered by universities, colleges and other community education centers in the Washington metropolitan area.
