Village at Rockville Nursing Home

The Village at Rockville, Maryland, offers all levels of skilled nursing care (light to intensive) in the 160 bed facility.  The Lutheran-run facility provides smaller, more personal "neighborhoods". With four nurse managers for each small group, more intimate level of care can be provided.  The facility offers 80% private rooms, a 24-hour visiting policy, pets welcome; an active schedule of activities, with a major music enrichment program; quarterly planning meetings; a fulltime Chaplaincy for Bible study, worship and spiritual care.  Dementia and Alzheimer's care is provided.



Rehabilitative care and intermediate care services are given in a residential setting. Includes physical and occupational therapy, as well as social services.



Independent Living residents are guaranteed admission. Direct nursing care admission preference is given to applicants who are members in good standing of Lutheran congregations. Other applicants are eligible. Catheter care and tracheotomy care are provided but not Central IV care at this facility.



American Sign Language. Call ahead. Office hours are weekdays; service hours are 24/7.   Respite care is available to anyone in the community.
