Who We Are

The Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) provides fixed-route public transportation for people living in the Petersburg area including portions of the city of Colonial Heights, the city of Hopewell, and the county of Dinwiddie.

PAT offers connections to downtown Richmond through GRTC and the greater United States via Greyhound from the Petersburg Multimodal Passenger Station.

Paratransit Service is available for individuals age 65 and older living in the City of Petersburg, City of Hopewell, and portions of Prince George and Dinwiddie Counties.

Reservations for next-day service may be arranged by calling the administrative offices at 804.324-5658, 24 hours a day. Confirmation will be made the same day or the morning of the next day.  Para-transit service is available from 6:00 am until 6:15 pm, Monday through Friday, and 7:00 am until 6:15 pm on Saturday.
