Who We Are

Visit the Hope House Thrift Shop which offers an assortment of vintage items and great bargains.  Open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am-6:00 pm across from Doumar's Diner.  Items for sale include furniture, linens, clothing, shoes, accessories, art, household items, books and records.

100% of the revenue from the Hope House Thrift Shop supports people with disabilities in our community. Donations are tax-deductible.

Drop-off donations are welcome every day between 10:00 am-4:30 pm or you can call 757-625-7493 to arrange pick-up service for large items. Donations are needed so services can continue to be provided. Donations of money, volunteer service, or goods are ways to help. Find ways to help. Donate old cell phones; Food Lion donates a portion of your grocery bill.

Participants receive services through individually tailored service plans and live in apartments within the community. Staff is available around the clock and supports participants in accomplishing things they would do independently if they were not disabled. Typically, participants receive assistance with household maintenance, cooking, finances, transportation, medical and dental needs, and recreation.
