Who We Are
Suburban House is a Housing Voucher (Section 8 rent) subsidy apartment complex for the elderly or disabled/handicapped. Suburban House will accept those who are under 62 years of age, if they are handicapped or disabled. Otherwise the age requirement is 62 years of age. Each resident must pay 30% of monthly income for contribution toward rent; 30% for new residents; balance of rent is subsidized by U.S. Housing and Urban Development.
The community has154 one bedroom apartments. There is a waiting list.
