STOP intervenes in crisis situations by aiding individuals and families with securing or maintaining adequate shelter through the provision of short-term financial assistance such as the first month's rent, hotel, motel costs or rent/mortgage payment.
STOP also provides emergency assistance for eligible clients who need food, clothing, furniture distribution, and payment for utility bills. For more information, call the Community Services Component at (757) 858-1368.
