Who We Are
Dial-In News is a computerized news retrieval program for people with low vision or blindness. Through the use of their home telephones, the client can access local newspapers at any time and in any form they choose. The Dial-In News Service uses a unique blend of technology, telephones, and volunteerism to bring local news to those unable to read the paper in print. Each day, volunteer readers call into the system to read and record local newspapers.
Users of this service also call in to listen to their choice of more than a dozen newspaper publications. This service is available 24 hours a day so listeners can call at a time that is convenient for them.
Dial-In is a free service to all eligible clients through a simple telephone application.
Accessibility: Fully handicapped accessible.
