Appalachian Agency provides services to individuals and their families who are at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. These services are coordinated with the local departments of social services. Programs on elder abuse prevention are given periodically at nutrition sites, senior centers, senior clubs, and special events. Suspected elder abuse should be reported to AASC or to the local social services department.
