Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Services Department serves as a liaison between the institute and communities which provide for the well-being of customers by supplying items and services not furnished by the facility, also to enhance treatment by augmenting the endeavors of the facility staff.



A volunteer must submit an application and be interviewed to determine interests and placement. Volunteers serve as chaplains, Sunday School teachers, and shoppers, as well as support animal assisted therapy. In addition, church and civic groups also provide special activities such as birthday or holiday parties.
