Who We Are

The Fairfax Connector offers public fixed-route bus transportation throughout Fairfax County.  Fare media may be purchased at Connector Store locations.

The Fairfax Connector has added four routes to connect to the Metrorail Silver Line Stations. These new routes will begin operation on November 15, 2022:

  • Route 615 Reston Town Center route (includes Capital Bikeshare),
  • Route 901 Herndon Metrorail Station route,
  • Route 921 Herndon Circulator route,
  • Route 954 Sterling Plaza route.

Visit the website for more information including a review of bus route changes in the Reston and Herndon areas and a resource guide for the new routes

Fairfax Connector New Rider Guide is available on the website. The tutorial discusses the Fairfax Connector rules, boarding the bus, paying your fare, making a transfer, and exiting the bus.

Fairfax County Park and Ride Lots are available throughout the county. The website lists the name and address of the lots, the number of parking spaces, and the transit company (Connector and/or Metro) that services that lot.

Visit the website for information about Bus Tracker; How to Ride; Fares and Policies; Schedules and Maps, Free Student Pass Program, and more.
