Who We Are

Arleigh Burke Pavilion of Vinson Hall Retirement Community offers Intermediate Skilled Nursing. The facility is part of a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in McLean, Virginia. The Healthcare Center features person-centered care for forty-nine private pay residents, for whom military affiliation is NOT required. Using a team approach to person-centered care and services means that emphasizes knowing residents’ likes and needs. Ongoing assessments allow staff to optimize care plans, and residents have the freedom to customize their menus and snack selections. Residents engage in activities that boost their enjoyment of everyday life. Exercise options, such as strength training with a licensed professional are included at no extra charge.  The capacity is 49 beds.

You do not have to be a resident of Vinson Hall Retirement Community to take advantage of nursing care.

Other Eligibility Criteria
Open to commissioned military officers of all branches of service and their immediate family members. Our Independent Living residences are now open to GS-14 and above federal employees from the Departments of State, Defense, Justice, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs. Former employees of the CIA and NASA with a GS-14 and above grade also qualify as well as Foreign Service class level 1, 2, or 3. Occasionally, special exceptions are made for individuals with a strong connection to our military or government.
