Short Term and Long Term Nursing Facility

Fairmont Crossing offers skilled nursing care  offering both long term and short term stays.  Capacity is 120 beds.  Long term care is available with private and semi-private rooms. The building interior is set up like a hotel with plenty of space for comfortable, quiet visitation, there is a large courtyard and porches for outdoor enjoyment. Services available include, skilled nursing, transportation arrangements to medical appointments, dining services, on-site hairstylist/barber, an emergency response system, respite care, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, rehabilitation services, and hospice. Rehabilitation services include physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.



The rehabilitation and health care center is owned and operated by Centra Health, and has formal agreements with Lynchburg General Hospital and Virginia Baptist Hospital.
