Adventures in Learning

Adventures in Learning: Classes are taught at the Chester Baptist Church located at 4317 School Street on Wednesdays for eight consecutive weeks. Spring and Fall Classes. Start every class with coffee and fellowship. Advanced Tai-Chi, Using the Computer in Your Daily Life, and Bridge classes start at 9:00 AM. All other classes start at 10:AM.



Blood pressure checks by the Hopewell Convalescent Center are available 9:30 AM û10:00 AM. There is only one session of classes after lunch from 1:15 PM to 2:05 PM.



Register online or by completing the form included in The Shepherd's Gate. Wednesdays are always fun at Adventures in Learning (AIL). The registration fee for AIL is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.



Adventures in Learning offers classes that will stimulate your creative juices, will rejuvenate you physically, will tickle the ol' gray matter, and will move you spiritually.



Some of the classes offered are: Book Discussions; Travelogues; Financial Planning; Watercolor Painting; Health Topics; World Politics; Tai chi; Music; History; Computers; Strength Training; Quilting; Master Gardening; Foreign Languages; Wood Carving, Bridge Classes, and more.  Topics may vary Fall and Spring.



Classes run on a semester basis - Fall, Winter, and Spring. They are held on Wednesdays and start at 9:15 until 2pm. You can register the day the session begins.
