Local Bus Service

The Winchester Transit system operates on regular routes and schedules throughout the City during the day. There are designated bus stops located throughout the City for easy identification of routes. For the safety of the passengers and the traveling public, drivers are trained to only pick up or drop off passengers at designated bus stops.

All buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts for people with disabilities and mobility impairments. Paratransit service is offered for those individuals who have a temporary or permanent disability that would not allow them to take advantage of the fixed-route service.

Trolley service is available several days during the week to take passengers to primarily dining and shopping attractions in Winchester.

All buses have bike racks on the front of the bus. Each rack holds two bikes.

Passengers must have the exact fare.
