As part of the Sentara RMH Medical Center, the East Rockingham Health Center offers comprehensive physical. occupational, aquatic, and speech therapy services to patients upon physician referral. Therapists offer specialized care in orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, spine and back disorders, wounds and other injuries and illnesses. Types of interventions used by RMH physical therapists include exercise, manual techniques, education, bracing, heat and cold modalities, ultrasound and electric stimulation.
