Adult Education

New River Community College offers Adult Education Programs to assist communities in raising the educational and skill levels of their adult citizens. In today's technology-driven society, it is critical that adults have opportunities for life-long learning. Adult Education is a critical part of economic development because adults must be able to compete on the basis of skill now more than ever! Building a stronger economy requires people to raise their educational and skill levels. As people gain greater self-sufficiency, they increase their earnings and contribute more to the tax-base of the community.



The NRCC Adult Education Program serves the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski and the city of Radford.
