Chesapeake Senior Centers

Chesapeake Parks, Recreation & Tourism offers several senior centers.

Portlock Senior Center at South Norfolk is a historic building available for rentals by the community.  The building has original hardwood floors, a large landscaped, well maintained yard and a wheelchair accessible ramp to the entrance.   There are 2 rentable rooms, the building has a kitchen and tables and chairs are available for use and included with rental.  Activities include pool tables, card playing and TV in addition to social events such as cookouts.

Rokeby Center, at 1709 Rokeby Avenue is newly renovated with daily activities geared toward the "55 & Better" population.  Membership based during regular operating hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9 am until 4 pm and on Saturday 9 am until 1 pm
