Who We Are
Giles County Senior Center provides recreation, education, fitness and socialization programs for aging residents of Giles County. Arts and crafts, quilting group, bridge group and nutrition education are available, as well as trips and special events. Some activities are paint class on Monday, puzzles and games on Tuesday, Bridge and Tai Chi on Wednesday, and New Quilters on Friday.
Contact the Center for questions about Pearisburg senior programs, health and wellness programs, senior recreation activities, senior meal program and eligibility membership. Some programs are available to all, regardless of age. Check with the Center because some programs are limited to Pearisburg residents who meet age requirements.
Site for congregate meals sponsored by New River Valley Area Agency on Aging. AARP meetings are also held here.
Transportation is provided to the Center for anyone that is want to come and does not have transportation. There may be a small fee. You will need to call a head of time so arrangements can be made.
