Home Delivered Meals

Senior Connections provides Home Delivered Meals to individuals aged 60 and older, who are homebound and in need of nutrition support. Delicious and nutritious meals provided through our contract with Meals on Wheels, provide one-third of the recommended dietary allowances (RDA.)  The Home Delivered Meals program provides:

• Hot meals consist of meat or other protein food, vegetables, fruit, bread, milk or other dairy food, and dessert.  
• Regular and special diets if needed such as diabetic, renal, and vegetarian. Foods may be chopped or pureed if needed.  
• Daily contact from a Meals on Wheels volunteer. 
• Home visits from a Senior Connections' Care Coordinator for initial assessment and periodic reassessments for eligibility and other needs.
