Accessible Transportation

Mountain Lynx Transit provides bus transit services in Abingdon, Galax, Marion, and Wytheville and the counties of Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, Washington, and Wythe. We link people with life while providing the benefits of public transportation - reducing air pollution and easing traffic congestion - making Southwestern Virginia a better place to live.

All Mountain Lynx Transit vehicles are wheelchair accessible, including manual and powered wheelchairs, and  offer other accommodations for riders with disabilities:

To be eligible for door-to-door service, a customer must meet one of the following criteria: have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), need to use a ramp or wheelchair lift to board or exit a public transit vehicle, or be unable to travel to or from a designated stop due to a disability.  Please see our Customer Service Guide on our website to learn more about our accessible transportation.
