Cell Phones for Soldiers

Virginia Housing has a Cell Phones for Soldiers program.  This  “Go Green Initiative” to promote sustainability and encourage conservation efforts within VHDA’s buildings, as well as within our communities, includes participation in the nationwide Cell Phones for Soldiers recycling program.



These donations are used to buy calling cards for our troops. Each phone equals an hour of talk time. And there’s no cost to Virginia Housing because Cell Phones for Soldiers pays to have the phones shipped to them.
