Who We Are
Sponsorship from the Virginia Center on Aging and Chesterfield County Public Schools and Chesterfield County made the The Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield possible.
The institute is designed to meet the educational and social enrichment needs of adults age 50 and better. The Institute is a learning community of peers who are committed to ongoing education and their own intellectual development. The Institute develops and offers daytime courses, lectures and special events on a wide range of topics; there are no exams, no credits and no college degrees required.
The program consists of spring and fall terms and a 4 week summer term. Classes in the spring and fall generally range from four to eight weekly sessions of up to 2 hours each. Lectures are given throughout the year.
