Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Riverside's Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is designed to help those with chronic lung disease to live the fullest possible life within the limitations of their disease. Adult patients with emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis may enter this program upon referral of their physician. The patient will be scheduled for a series of two weekly visits for a period of nine weeks. These one-hour visits with the pulmonary rehabilitation therapist will consist of both education and individually prescribed exercise periods.
