Accessia Health (Accessia), formerly Patient Services Incorporated, evaluates an individual's financial, medical, and insurance situation to determine who is eligible for premium or co-payment assistance. Accessia provides help for many illnesses and offers many types of assistance.
Accessia can also provide assistance with COBRA coverage, HIPAA conversion policies, state high-risk insurance pools and open enrollment insurance plans. Accessia also works with Medicare patients to satisfy their 20% co-payment threshold or helps Medicare Part D patients cover out-of-pocket costs until the appropriate level is met for Medicare Castastrophic coverage to begin.
For those patients who qualify, Accessia offers full assistance for a period of one year. The amount of funding a client receives is based on a number of factors including income, Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and other extenuating circumstances.
