Performance Chiropractic offers dry needling treatment for pain issues. Dry needling is similar to acupuncture. It is designed to deactivate trigger points (persistent, painful areas in muscles, tendons) that feel like a knot.
Dry needling goes deeper than massage therapy, literally penetrating the trigger points. Several sessions of needling the trigger point(s) can deactivate them, allowing you to move more freely. This may mean less pain, better function, and (for athletes) fewer injuries and better performance.
