The Adventures in Learning program offers classes, workshops, seminars and discussion groups which will provide educational experiences covering a wide range of interests. Adventures in Learning are classes that run for 8 weeks. All classes are offered by older adult volunteers. Previous class topics have included Literature, History, Creative Arts/Crafts, Health Issues and Concerns, World Affairs, Exercise, Travel, Financial and Security issues, spirituality, computer skills, etc.
Lunch n' Life: luncheons are held quarterly at local churches with guest speakers and performers.
Trips and Outings include local and out-of-town excursions to provide fellowship and learning. Examples of trips are a river cruise, monuments tour, theater excursion and train ride.
Special Events: Mature Driver safety class facilitated by AARP, fundraiser performances, Thanksgiving interfaith service, Caregivers Treat, Flu Shots and more.

Three eight-week sessions per year (Fall, Winter and Spring), taught by volunteers, are held on Thursdays at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax (UUCF), 2709 Hunter Mill Rd, Oakton, VA. Computer classes are offered on Mondays at Oakton High School.
